The Secret Lives of Therapists: Open Mic, Talent Share & Storytelling Hour

EVENT Overview

Your role as a therapist is just one facet of the whole person that you are. What are the secret (and not-so-secret) parts of your life that have nothing to do with your therapist role?

In this one-hour, open-mic style talent share and storytelling circle, you’ll get a chance to “show and tell” about some aspect of your life that brings you joy.

You might…

  • Play a song (live or pre-recorded)

  • Show us a piece you knitted

  • Tell us about your last kayaking adventure

  • Share a recipe you love, and tell us why you love it

  • Play some of your own TikTok videos

  • Present a slideshow of favorite photos from your life

  • Perform a stand-up comedy bit

  • Recount a memory of a time you laughed so hard you cried

  • Tell us about a person you love

  • Show-and-tell a special object from your world

  • Reveal the biggest gifts and epiphanies that have come from taking morning walks

  • Share a clip from a podcast episode or video you created

  • Anything you dream up!
